Martinair bought two Airbus A310s in 1984, which remained in service until November 1995. They were mainly used on holiday flights to the Mediterranean area. The PH-MBZ was one of the three MD-82's in the fleet of Martinair. Bought in February 1983 to replace the four DC-9-33RC's and sold in 1992. Used mainly for holidayflights to the Mediteranean.

Martinair had a total of 9 DC10-30s in service from November 1973 to September 1995. The PH-MBT was leased to Garuda from 1979 to 1992 and sold to the Royal Netherlands Air Force in 1995 to be converted into the KDC-10. The DC-10’s of Martinair were replaced by the MD-11.

The PH-MAO was one of the four DC-9's in the fleet of Martinair. Bought in February 1969. Used mainly for holidayflights to the Mediteranian. Half the 70's it has been painted in the new Martinair livery. It was exchanged  for the bigger DC-9-82 to Douglas in March 1983.

The PH-MAU was one of the five DC-8's which Martinair had in its fleet. The plane was bought in November 1968 from Overseas National Airways. Used mainly for worldwide adhoc charters and holidayflights to the Mediteranean. Half the 70's it has been painted in the new Martinair livery. After 10 years service it was sold to Aviaco Spain.

The PH-DCD was the first jetliner and one of the five DC-8's which Martinair had in its fleet. The plane was bought in November 1967 from KLM. Used mainly for worldwide adhoc charters and holidayflights to the Mediteranean. In October 1973 it was sold to African Safari Airways.

The MD-11 was the successor to the DC-10. Same configuration, but a slightly longer fuselage, new engines, improved aerodynamics and a modern cockpit. The aircraft made its first test flight on January 10, 1990 and in December 1990 Finnair was able to take delivery of the first aircraft. After the merger with McDonnell Douglas, Boeing decided to cease production of the MD-11 in March 2001. The last passenger MD-11 rolled out of the factory in 1998 and the last freighter two years later. A total of two hundred MD-11s were built.

Martinair has had seven MD-11s combi/pax/freight and in service since 1995 of the types CF (combi/pax freight) and F( freight only). The CF's were used in the summer months for passenger flights to distant holiday destinations. They could carry 368 passengers. After the summer of 2008, all MD-11s at Martinair were only used for cargo flights. The first aircraft left the fleet in 2013. On July 1, 2016, the last one flew to Southern California Logistics Airport (Victorville) for scrapping.
